Production Techniques

The sounds in DnB Textures 2 were created using a unique process, combining the warmth of vintage gear with the precision of modern technology. Live drum kits were sampled and processed using an Akai S3000, while basses were crafted using a Novation Bass Station 2, EMU and Yamaha samplers. Pads were created using a specially programmed Roland JV-2080, all processed through a Studiomaster “golden era” analog console, Oakley-Moog hardware filters, and even a cassette deck for added texture.
