Cassette Mallets.02 is a unique VST instrument offering a collection of experimental mallet sounds, expanding on the innovative soundscapes of its predecessor. This meticulously crafted library features three distinct instruments, each with its own character and sonic palette:

Instrument Details:

• Sound 01: A captivating blend of vintage glockenspiel recordings captured on a thin steel plate, offering a unique metallic timbre.
• Sound 02: A two-octave xylophone interwoven with the resonant textures of corrugated sheet metal, creating a rich and complex soundscape.
• Sound 03: A unique take on the xylophone, recorded using three mallets attached to a mattress spring and copper wire, resulting in a distinctive, grainy, and unpredictable texture.

All three sounds benefit from additional synthesis techniques, enriching their timbral depth and extending their keyboard range. Sound 01 and Sound 02 boast 5 dynamic layers each, while Sound 03 features 4, providing expressive control over the intensity and nuance of your playing. The sounds were meticulously captured using three different cassette decks, adding a distinctive analog warmth and character to each sample. In total, Cassette Mallets.02 contains 2565 samples (1.63 GB of uncompressed 24-bit WAV files).
